Acou-Insul-Vision amorphous Silica Fabrics are high temperature fabrics used for a wide range of insulation and protection applications. Our Silica Fabrics are made out of our new innovative Silica S+ Fiber® for optimum performance. Compared to fabrics from regular silica fibers the extra strong Silica S+ Fiber® increases the tensile strength of our fabrics giving them the power to endure heavy duty applications.

Silica Fabrics can be fabricated into many forms to withstand continuous temperatures up to 1800°F for various periods of time. They give superior protection from weld slag and welding sparks in hot work protection. Our Silica Fabrics meet MIL-I-24244 and MIL-C-24576(SH) specifications and have been tested and meet NFPA 701-1999 fire tests for flame-resistant textiles and films method 1.
